When is PV-PB30W useful?
For portable Full HD recording without a separate recorder. The camera, card slot and battery share one housing, and recording to the card does not require a continuous phone connection.
Wi-Fi provides a direct P2P connection to a nearby phone. This model is not an internet IP camera with access from anywhere.

Does it record without Wi-Fi or a phone?
Yes. Video is saved to the microSD card. Wi-Fi is used for phone viewing and control and can be turned off during recording.
Can I view the camera from anywhere in the world?
This model uses a direct Wi-Fi P2P connection to a nearby phone. Internet viewing from any location is not specified for this model.
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
The manufacturer specifies 1080p, 720p and WVGA at up to 30 fps. Video files use MOV with H.264 compression; photos use JPG.
How long does the battery last?

How do I copy files to a computer?
