Yorkie-Pro from Berkeley Varitronics Systems combines cellular RF scanning with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and BLE device identification. Interchangeable antennas, a touchscreen and measurement recording support security checks of rooms, vehicles and sensitive facilities.

What does Yorkie-Pro detect?
The receiver detects transmitted cellular RF, Wi-Fi access points and supported Bluetooth / BLE devices. It helps search for unauthorised phones, unknown access points, personal tracking tags and active GPS trackers that transmit through a cellular network.
CW receiver: 690–2700 MHz and 4.9–5.9 GHz. Cellular detection depends on the frequency band and selected regional profile. Wi-Fi device identification applies to access points.
A consistent check in three steps
- Prepare the receiverCharge the unit in its dock, attach the three omnidirectional antennas and select the correct regional frequency profile.
- Survey and filterAllow at least one minute for an initial survey. Review cellular activity and device lists; use WHITE LIST to filter familiar devices.
- Locate and documentConnect the appropriate DF antenna and follow the selected signal. Save a snapshot or start a logging session to document the check.
Before you startDetection requires a transmission in a supported band. A switched-off or currently silent device cannot be detected. Standby phones and BLE tags may transmit intermittently; allow time for a survey and combine the results with a physical inspection. Range depends on the environment, antenna and signal power.

Frequently asked questions
Which cellular networks does it detect?
Yorkie-Pro detects RF activity from 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G devices when they transmit in supported bands for the selected region. It measures radio activity; availability depends on the actual frequency used.
Does it detect AirTag, SmartTag and other tags?
It supports transmitted Bluetooth / BLE signals from compatible AirTag, Samsung SmartTag, Tile and Chipolo tags. Detection depends on the tag’s state, firmware and transmissions. An AirTag actively connected to its owner’s phone may not appear in the scan.
What Wi-Fi information is shown?
The device list identifies 2.4 and 5 GHz access points and shows available SSID, MAC address, channel and RSSI information. It does not identify individual Wi-Fi client devices in that list.
Can it find a phone in standby or a GPS tracker?
Yes, while a phone or an active cellular GPS tracker transmits in a supported band. A GPS receiver that only receives satellite signals cannot be found through cellular detection. Intermittent transmissions may require a longer survey.
Does it reveal phone numbers or message content?
No. Yorkie-Pro measures RF activity and available wireless identifiers. It does not identify callers or display call, message or internet traffic content.
How is a detected device located?
Select the relevant signal or device, attach the correct DF antenna, then compare readings while changing position and antenna direction. The environment and nearby reflections affect the result.
Can measurements be saved?
Yes. Snapshot and data logging functions record screen measurements with timestamps. Optional Yorkie-Pro Windows software retrieves data through Mini-USB for review and export.
How long does it operate and charge?
The current manufacturer data sheet specifies approximately 4 hours of typical operation and approximately 5 hours for a full charge in the supplied dock. Actual runtime depends on operating conditions.
