Where does PB705 fit?
Use PB705 for luggage, toolboxes, equipment or assets kept in a vehicle. Its 42.5 mm diameter body is easy to position, and the 80 dB buzzer helps with nearby searches.
Location reports may be delayed. Continuous GPS tracking and a fixed update interval are not guaranteed.

Does it need a SIM card, and are there service fees?
No SIM card is needed, but a paid TAG server service is required. Product variants include a choice of 1, 2 or 3 years of service.
How does PB705 locate an item?
Compatible nearby phones detect the tag's BLE signal. This crowdsourced network passes location data to the platform for you to view.
Why does the location not update immediately?
Updates depend on compatible phones nearby and their ability to relay data. The guide suggests allowing about 30 minutes for the first update. This is not a guaranteed interval, and longer delays are possible.
How long does the battery last, and can it be charged?
Expected life is up to 36 months, depending on use and conditions. Frequent audible searches reduce battery life. The CR14250 800 mAh battery is replaceable but cannot be recharged.
Is PB705 water-resistant?
The 2026-02-03 datasheet states IP68, while guide v1.3 states IP67. Both require a securely closed housing. Because the ratings differ, check the specific device version before exposing it to water.
How do I link the tag to an account?
Use the app specified with your server service. Scan the device code or ask the seller to add it to the platform. Check compatibility with your phone before activation.
How is PB705 mounted, and how do I find it nearby?
Use the supplied 3M tape on a flat surface or the magnetic holder on suitable metal. The 80 dB buzzer helps with nearby searches; control depends on connectivity and the app.
Does it support geofences?
Geofence alerts depend on the server platform's features and incoming location reports. Alerts may be delayed along with the location data.
